Had a great OPM with Veron zone, starting to get to know more pple both members and leaders, truly a bunch a great heroes - Veron's slogan is the pple we have are those who God turns from 'Zeros to Heros'!

Veron shared abt Spiritual Maintenance - Neh 7:3
And I said to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut and bar the doors; and appoint guards from among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, one at his watch station and another in front of his own house.

Just like equipment/gates get worn out without care dure to wear and tear, the same w our spiritual walk.

Excellence is not equal to magnitude but maintenance. Its about sustainability.

Are we able to maintain the anointing in our lives?

Prov 4:18
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
The more we grow, the happier we should be!

We need something fresh and current.
Maintenance means doing the mundane - daily bathing = daily spiritual disciplines.

Thanksgiving: Being thankful is like an aircon, brings coolness into a dry, hot, warm, uncomfortable place. its like aircon to the soul.

Things I wanna thank God for
- In career: opportunity to be in charge of new president's comms plan and work on Ops Manage. Learning new things, financial abundance, good paying job, great boss and colleagues.
- In family: loving and caring mum & dad, KT & Clare who give me a place to stay and sometimes have to put up my nonsense. Brothers who care n show what it means to have a god-centered marriage.
- In friendships: God is opening doors for new friendships in VER & SMU, even thru Guitar lesson with Poh
- In ministry: new creative ways to reach out thru guitar, in RI, in SMU, can learn from Fang & Veron, learning to be more teachable and have better attitude
- In spiritual walk: God restores and rejuvenates

Giving
- Not just in finances but in giving time to love people
- I need to be more giving at home with KT & Clare, not just think of own interests - respect house rules: being more quiet at night while i need to rush stuff and they r sleeping, not walk ard in my shoes (esp when i already put them on), dont dilly dally

I pray that you may prosper in all things are be in health just as yr soul prospers.

Need to be have godly contentment and not envy what others have in ministry (some cgs have the grace to grow to 15, others have grace to grow to 30), relationships (trusting in God's timing).

Gal 5:26 let's not allow envy to seep in.

Prayer Req
- not be afraid to work hard and push limits, emotional/coping state must match up w how driven I am, have balance and be happy!
- have a more excellent spirit, not get lazy in disciplines (still trying to wake up on time at 7am for 1 hr QT), habit of sleeping early and waking up early.
