was very touched when Veron prayed for me during Overnight PM

She told me that even as we r faithful to serve God, God also wants us to be happy n doing well in different areas - eg family relationships esp with mummy, personal relationships, trusting people. I think its really true that sometimes u can put up a strong front, but that may not be how u feel on inside.

so my prayer is that God will strengthen the inward image. its really not abt being self-sufficient, its abt leaning on God - just like Jacob walking with that limp, leaning on God. he was a smart guy, scheming and trying to protect self from a 'lunatic' bro out to kill him, but in the end, one wrestle with God n he learnt to have a broken n contrite attitude.

I bet Jacob was the kind of guy who looked strong on the outside, he had the 'human wisdom' but it was when he gave up that to look to God.

i think i need to work a lot more harder n smarter - it takes supernat wisdom to be SMART - got to read n improve more, then can excel. Need to apply myself more in the workplace
