Often we r caught in the myths that the best, brightest and the self-made qualify to become outliers who spring naturally from earth - its not the bightest who succeedd nor is success the sum of decisions n efforts we make by ourselves only. outliers r those who r given opportunities n who had the strength n presence of mind to seize them.

We look at young bill gates n marvel that our world allowed that 13 yr old to become a fabulous entrepreneur. but thats the wrong lesson - our world only allowed one 13yr old to hav unlimited access to a time-sharing computer terminal in 1968. if a million teens had been given the same opportunity how many more microsofts would we have today?

this book talks about opportunity, background, how ppl help others to be success, that success is not self-made which is true, but one thing it doesnt say is DIVINE OPPORTUNITY.

God can work through the circumstance to creative opportunities, acts of providence that our puny mind cannot fathom or imagine.
