Watched freedom writers with Yihan and Angeline, its truly a touching and meaningful story about gang rivalry and hatred in a US School and how a teacher works to transform lives of her students, give them a hope and a dream for the future and basically powerfully impact lives. Kinda reflects what we are doing in church

was just reading the bill hybels book--> courageous leadership and basically it says..
in a broken world,
wise educators can teach useful knowledge
self-help programs can offer effective methods of behavior modification
advanced psychological techniques can aid self-understanding
highest elected officials can set policies

but all cant change the human heart
all cant heal a wounded soul
all cant turn hatred into love
all cant bring repentance , forgiveness, reconciliation, peace.

They cant get to the core of the problem..
Only the church can.
