wow, the outreach event with pastor yock kiang was fantastic, the presence of god came and saturated the souls of the lost! many pple from nj came...so now God has indeed broken thru for us..of the 5 nj pple who came, all five gave their hearts to jesus! wow..
was reading the parable of the sower..lets really be a protector of the harvest!
Matt 13 talks about the

1. seed sown wayside and seeds are eaten by birds: it says that they dont understand the gospel message...its really true that the salvation message is foolish to those who are perishing..and they would only see the light when they encounter jesus personally..somehow, its as if..something is blinding them...so we as their frens got to pray for the veil that obstructs their vision of jesus to be removed!

2. seed sown on stony places: the salvation only lasts for a while..once trouble or persecution come, there is no root..and the person leaves the kingdom of GOD..my prayer is that all those who came, none be like this, to receive it with joy for only a moment, indeed we can pray for their protection..that their hope in God is stronger than the pull of the "easy" life in the world that leads to destruction.

3. seed sown amongst thorns: cares of the world seem to pull them away from GOD, they get choked up and so engrossed by just pleasures,enjoying life,having frens,partying,relationships etc..though none of this wrong..but yet if life is consumed by it, if like is nothing apart from this, then most certainly u would have no appetite for spiritual things cos your already so "full" with these things. "God" to you would then be just like a side-dish that u can try out if your still a little more hungry..it really pains me to see people like that...if only they had their lives rooted in GOD, how much more meaning that would have in life!

4. seed that bears fruit 60,100 fold: seed planted on good fertile ground always bears fruit..its such an incredible thing to lead a person to christ, see them being saved, changed, on fire for GOD, nothing beats knowing the eternal life gift of christ that you had helped yr fren to achieve through your vehement cries and prayers to GOD on their behalf..the joy just bubbles out of yoU!
