today was a lonnnngg one..after service had to go all the way to tampines to have project meeting..
but im glad..why? cos shared with louis abt isreal..i believe that the bible came more alive to him..my prayer is that louis may grow stronger in the lord, to have understanding of biblical things, to hunger more for GOD. may u lead yr life with conviction!

had meeting all the way till 935pm..wah!!!
on the way home, really felt a desire to pray when i cld reach home and pray..
but lo & bhold, trouble & oppositon come when u wanna come to god..
i believe i have a breakthru in my spirit..even now as i am typing. cos i pesevered thru the testing i faced..

what happened? eyes were so dry i couldnt get my contacts off..so was very miserable..then scared when my bro started overeacting..then..got into quarrel with bro abt it (dont worry patched it up already) ...and cried..(so drama-rama ah)..in the meantime wondered if i would go blind etc

inside i was like:: god! u want me to go thru so much? just so i can pray????
then god was like:: thats how u press into his presence!

my conviction was. if after i managed to get my contacts out n i didnt pray then i would miss out on what god had planned for me to receive..

u know its amazing how god was..while i didnt had my eyesight restored (ie i couldnt take out 1side of my contacts)..i was playing guitar to get my focus off myself (always the rit thing to do in a tough situation), then i realised i could play the 16beat extraordinary song..in which i couldnt get the beat for a long while..(BREAKtrue!), my goal for this hol was to learn to songlead & play guitar and i knew i needed to memorise my chords and flow more (i always had a problem with this) so without my full eyesight..i was forced to do exactly that (another BREAKthru!) i think maybe i should do that more often..so i force myself to remember chords..instead of looking at the paper all the time (it can be distracting ).. i realised it was so much more impt for 16beat as well when u had a flow instead of concentrating so hard on changing chord, what chord is next..etc..

and the exact timing my breakthru came? ( i had earlier tried numerous times to get the contacts off and my eyes were sore, dry and red and painful) when i started to play the song
