Revelation 4
The Throne in Heaven
1After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne.

This passage is after John talks about the LUKEwarm Laodician church. Their hearts are not open to God, and HE is trying to get in!

God has several LEVELS of knocking at the door of yr heart
1. small voice on the inside that gives u an inclination on the inside, God wants us to be led by this thru the spirit
2. if this doesn’t work, the voice gets louder..
3. if this doesn’t either, brothers & sisters, pple around you start to tell u
4. finally, circumstances force u in doing what u are supp to do which is the lowest form of guidance

There is a door on earth and in heaven. The one on earth is in your HEART, if this is open then the one in heaven opens as well.

There are several openings in heaven, access points from heaven to earth or from heaven to earth
1. windows of heaven which is directly related to tithing. They open when u tithe in obedience and blessings flow OUT of heaven
2. pearly gates
Pearls are made by small granites (aggravations) that form in the oyster. If u allow this irritations, they open up the heavenly gates. They are formed in the deep seas, the low points in your life that give u price-ly entrance into heaven. While we search for comfort, He searches for yr character. Through the trials we enter into the kingdom of God.

God is saying to u and me “Come up here” “Come up higher!”
Into a life with higher tots, God wants us to rise up in your friendships, your tot life, your speech, your sanctification. And God will show u what happens after this thing. We can move in the realm of Spirit.

Whatever you feed the most is the realm you live in. Whatever you feed your will strengthen. If you feed the flesh (fleshly desires & temptations) the flesh strengthens. If you feed the spirit (spiritual walk), the spirit strengthens.

You get pleasure bursts from feeding the flesh, this is temporary. As u continually live according to the flesh, we have less control and it starts to dominate. If you devote yourself to prayer and feeding on the bible, then we start to see God’s purposes more in our life!

When God says I will show you your future, the first thing John sees is the THRONE. This is because we need to know that our future is designated by God, we need to arrange our lives AROUND the throne of God. He is ruling over your future! He has the authority!

Matt 28: 18-19 There is complete authority of God ruling over the Earth.
We need to MAKE disciples. They are not BORN. It is the duty of the church, using the authority of Christ.

Acts 28: 1-10 This is how we use the authority to make disciples and we are blessed in return. Paul had authority over the ship owners, captain because he was in the spirit, he knew there was a storm coming.

We gain authority in our circumstances by our response! We can respond in faith or in fear & intimidation. Or we can see a throne in our future and shake off the ‘snakes’ that bite us. Whatever ‘snake’ that tries to affect & poison over yr attitude. MAKE a decision to shake them off today! Paul brings revival over the island through the miraculous healings, after a shipwreck & a snake bite. God can bring good out of the bad circumstances! We can walk in any circumstance & exercise AUTHORITY over it!
